October 21 - Tschudi Project Transports (TPT) will open a new office in Aarhus, Denmark on November 1.

"In order to offer our customers in Jylland (Jutland) an even better service, we have to be closer. We settled on Aarhus as the town and port are ideally suited for future development," said Thomas Vestergaard, managing director of TPT, operating from the company's Hellerup office.

Thomas-Peder Jensen, former DSV manager in Horsens, will be in charge of TPT's new venture in Aarhus.

TPT also recently carried out the transport of four large power plant boilers, each of which weighed 65 tonnes, from a factory in Herning to the port of Aarhus.

From the Danish port, the cargo was lifted onboard the vessel Frem Nordica for shipment to the Baltic, before being transported by road to the customer in Belarus.

In addition to the Danish offices in Hellerup and Aarhus, TPT, which is part of the privately owned Norwegian Tschudi Group, has its own offices in Drammen, Norway; Tallinn, Estonia; and Turku, Finland.
