August 21 - Jiangsu Sunshine International Logistics has handled the transportation of 16 monopiles for an offshore wind farm.
Jiangsu Sunshine was responsible for the overland transportation, port loading and ocean carriage of the monopiles, the heaviest of which weighed 501 tons (454.5 tonnes), measuring 73 m in length and 5 m in diameter.
Other monopile pieces measured 84 m in length, with a diameter of 2 m and a weight of 120 tons (109 tonnes).
In a separate project, Jiangsu Sunshine handled the shipment of seven boats from a production factory in Zhuhai, China to Rades in Tunisia.
According to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), of which Jiangsu Sunshine is a member in China, the boats were loaded onto a vessel in Shenzhen for direct delivery to Rades.
