Port terminal operator SERMI has invested in a Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour crane for its facility in the port of Pozzallo, Italy.
The crane, due to be delivered in May 2021, has a payload capacity of 125 tonnes and maximum working radius of 51 m.
The diesel-electric Gottwald Model 6 crane will help reduce SERMI’s overall carbon footprint, while increasing the company’s handling performance, said Konecranes.
Vincenzo Venniro, owner and ceo of SERMI, added: “Our new Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane will help us to continue meeting increasing customer demand for the traffic of containers worldwide at the highest level of quality, and in a more sustainable way.”
