December 28 - Fortune International Transport, a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), has coordinated a shipment with fellow PCN members, C.H. Robinson Project Logistics and Cuchi Shipping.
The machinery, weighing 70 tonnes, was shipped from Italy to Vietnam. Fortune handled the transport from Italy to Singapore, onboard a Rickmers Line vessel, before C.H. Robinson coordinated the discharge in Singapore and transhipment on a local vessel to Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival in Vietnam, Cuchi Shipping arranged the offloading of the vessel and transport of the cargo by truck to the final destination.
Meanwhile, DC Logistics, PCN member in Brazil, has transported a 45.5-tonne dryer from Paranaguá to Manta, Ecuador.
In Brazil, the dryer was transported 500 km to Paranaguá port and was loaded onto a Mafi trailer onboard a ro-ro vessel.
Indian member, Procam Logistics, has transported ten heavy and over-dimensional excavators, and their accessories, from Chennai port to Latakia port, Syria.
Each excavator weighed over 27 tonnes and was loaded onto 40 ft flatracks at Chennai Port. The excavators were moved in two shipments of five each.
In a separate project, Procam Logistics and C.H. Robinson Project Logistics arranged the ocean transport of breakbulk and containerised cargo from multiple locations to Daesan port in Busan, South Korea.
The cargo was shipped from China, India and the USA on three charters with a combined weight of 773 tonnes, and a volume of 6,932 cu m.
