August 19 - Nurminen Logistics, member of the Cargo Equipments Experts (CEE) network for Finland, transported a 100 tonne heat exchanger from Klaipeda Port in Lithuania to Grodno in Belarus earlier this month.
The exchanger with a diameter of 4.8 m had to pass under a pipeline with a maximum height clearance of 5.6 m. Due to weight and axle pressure restrictions a specially designed heavy duty low-bed could not be used. Instead, Nurminen transported the equipment using a 10-axle Goldhofer trailer equipped with extra low wheels.
