April 30 - Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) has transported a number of units for a steel factory project, weighing up to 100 tonnes each, from Germany to a site in south Russia.

The units were transported over a distance of 5,000 km by road to the site, which is not far from the Russia-Kazakhstan border. AGL explained that it had to overcome very poor road conditions, which are often a consequence of the harsh Russian winter.

Despite the road conditions, which AGL described as soft, and inclement weather conditions, AGL managed to successfully deliver the units. The move was part of an ongoing project to transport around 8,000 freight tonnes of cargo from Germany to Russia.

Alexander Global Logistics is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Germany, Russia and Mongolia.
