October 5 - Pan Ocean has appointed SAL Heavy Lift as its commercial agent for the semi-submersible deck carriers Sun Shine and Sun Rise.
The agreement aims to utilise the networks of each of the companies to provide ro-ro and flo-flo transport solutions in their respective regions.
Following the agreement with Pan Ocean, and Harren & Partner's acquisition of SAL earlier this year, the Hamburg-headquartered heavy lift and project cargo carrier now represents a fleet of up to five semi-submersible deck carriers, including Combi Dock I, Combi Dock III, and Papenburg.
