August 30 - National Air Cargo (NAC) has selected Orlando as the location for its new headquarters.
The airline, which provides freight transport for military and industrial customers, is relocating from bases in Orchard Park, New York and Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Its new headquarters is located in the Citadel II office complex near Orlando International Airport, taking up the 25,000 sq ft fifth floor.
The nationwide search, which explored various cities across America, came to a close after NAC was reportedly drawn to Orlando by Central Florida's defense industry, aviation businesses, airport resources as well as economic incentives.
