Derek Knox, currently director of operations Scotland at Forth Ports, is to become regional director for Scotland – tasked with managing the teams across seven Scottish ports – including Forth Projects, the firm’s port and infrastructure division. Knox has been with Forth Ports for over 25 years and has served in several senior roles.

Currently commercial director, David Webster has been promoted to regional director for Tilbury. He has been with Forth Ports for nearly 10 years and, like Knox, has held senior management positions.

“As we navigate an evolving market landscape, our focus remains on delivering sustainable growth,” said Stuart Wallace, ceo of Forth Ports, who both will report to. “Capitalising on the strength, capability and expertise within our business, we are excited to make these new leadership appointments.”

Paul Dale, chief operating officer, will provide strategic support and guidance to Webster and Knox.
