The port of Everett has adopted its operating budget for 2019, earmarking USD58.7 million for new capital investment.
The 2019 budget totals USD102 million. According to the port of Everett, the budget is designed to enable the port to implement its strategic initiative portfolio, which includes more than 145 capital projects.
For 2019, the port’s capital budget proposes work on 53 of the capital projects, the largest being the construction of the South Terminal wharf and electrical upgrade, construction of Fisherman’s Harbor and the Central Marina improvements.
In addition to the USD58.7 million in new investment, USD9.8 million in capital investment has been carried forward from 2018.
