February 2 - ZIM Integrated Shipping Services and Avvashya-CCI, a subsidiary of Allcargo Logistics, have signed a cooperation agreement to provide cargo and logistics services in India.
The agreement includes a range of services, including land transportation, Customs clearance, warehousing and depot facilities as well as special cargo services. Indrajit Dasgupta, ZIM India president, explained: "We are upgrading and expanding ZIM's network to better serve the Indian market."
ZIM's special cargo services include its ability to transport out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo, as well as refrigerated and hazardous shipments, using its network of shipping lines offering services on major global trade routes.
