October 1 - Japan based Yusen Logistics has signed an important and strategic collaboration agreement with Turkey's Inci Logistics.
Yusen Logistics is entering a partnership with Inci Logistics, which is a member company of Inci Holding. The two companies will expand and strengthen their positions in the sector with a 32 percent partnership.
The companies believe that the collaboration will not only create a new player for customers seeking logistics and value added services in the Turkish market, but also provide logistics solutions on a national and global scale.
President of Inci Logistics, Cihan Elbirlik said explained that the company is combining its industrial logistics experience in the Turkish market with Yusen's international expertise and global infrastructure.
Inci Logistics provides ocean and air freight to Europe, America, Far East, Middle East and Africa, and land transportation and storage solutions to Europe and CIS countries.
"Yusen has ambitious growth plans for Turkish markets where we see significant opportunity in both the short and long term, in terms of both domestic and international solutions," added Ian Veitch, managing director of Yusen Logistics Europe.
