May 16 - XL Projects (XLP) network member in Oman, Khimji Ramdas, provided freight management services at the Port of Sohar, handling the delivery of a 100-tonne ABB transformer measuring 6.4 m x 3.5 m x 3.8 m.
Khimji Ramdas managed Customs clearance, placing the unit on stools and beams, and securing permissions for onward transportation. The company also organised a jack and skid system to offload the transformer at the final project site.
In New Zealand, XLP representative Freight Traders arranged the duty-free import of two Dillmec drilling rigs, as well as the mobilisation and demobilisation to various remote locations on the North Island.
Once the drilling campaign was complete, Freight Traders coordinated the re-export of the rigs over two ship charters.
