May 4 - FLS Projects in Taiwan, a member of the XLProjects (XLP) network, has delivered an oversized plastic forming machine, with accessories, from Kaohsiung, Taiwan to Busan, South Korea.
The cargo, which measured 10 m x 4.5 m x 3.8 m and weighed 110 tonnes, was shipped from Taiwan on board AAL Kembla.
Fellow XLP member, EGL Transport, a subsidiary of Kadmar Group, discharged and transported six units for a cement factory, weighing 78.35 tons (71.1 tonnes) each, from Alexandria Port, Egypt to an Armament Authority cement factory in Beni Suef.
In a separate project, EGL transported five 81-ton (73.5-tonne) Bosch boilers on its modular trailers. The boilers were discharged at Alexandria Port using a 250-tonne capacity mobile shore crane.
XLP member, Mercomar, has completed the shipment of a Doopstadt slow-speed shredder from Calbe, Germany to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mercomar will handle the transportation of a second machine next month.
