May 10 - Worldwide Project Consortium members Albacor Shipping and Steder Group teamed up to move two chimneys from Esbjerg, Denmark to a refinery in Whiting, Indiana in the USA.
The two units, which each weighed 32 tons, were shipped onboard the M/V Federal Patroller to Burns Harbor, where the cargo was loaded onto two special trailers and transported to the final destination.
WWPC director Wolfgang Karau said the move represented another successful partnership between members of the leading project logistics network.
