May 28 - World Logistics Consulting Inc. is currently in the process of transporting two transformers by rail from the Port of Houston to the Haldimand County wind farm in Ontario.
The first transformer weighed 119 tonnes and had the dimensions 9.9 m x 3.5 m x 4 m, while the second weighed in at 99 tonnes and measured 9.9 m x 3.4 m x 3.8 m.
Both transformers have been loaded onto railcars and begun the journey from Houston to Haldimand.
World Logistics acquired both railcars, as well as its own rigger to load the cargo onto the cars.
The company has said that it continues to track the railcars and will provide its clients with regular updates until the loads reach the rail siding in Haldimand.
World Logistics Consulting, which specialises in the transportation of over-dimensional and super heavy project cargoes alongside general shipments anywhere in the USA and Canada, is a member of the WCA Projects network.
