December 9 - Henry Woo is to head up the Asia-Pacific (APAC) division at Hansa Heavy Lift, taking over from Joerg Roehl, who is moving back to Europe and taking an advisory role with the shipping company.
Roehl was transferred to Singapore in March 2015 to manage the shipping company's business in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, taking over from Jesper Traerup.
Woo will continue to be based at the shipping line's Asia headquarters in Singapore and has been with the company since it opened its office in Singapore in 2012, having previously worked for BBC Chartering, DHL Global Forwarding and DB Schenker.
Roger Iliffe, ceo said: "Henry has been the leader of our move into more complex Transport & Installation (T&I) projects in Asia and led our work with Bumi Armada and BioWave in the past years.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank Joerg for his hard work. I am glad that we will continue to have access to his strategic thinking as a Board advisor."
