April 16 - Project Management Logistics (Pty) Ltd, the South African member of the WWPC forwarding network, has undertaken the transport of over-dimensional winder drums for a mine hoist from Poland to a mine in Rustenburg, South Africa.
Pictured below are the two winder drums which were transported by road from Zabrze, Poland to Hamburg for ocean shipment to Durban and then transported again by road to the mine site.
Each of the four halves of the two winder drums weighed 32 tonnes and were 6.75 m in length, 2.3 m in width and 3.46 m high.
