June 30 - The logistics department of Wilhelmsen Ships Service in Shanghai has completed the loading of a large consignment containing an air-filter system for shipment to India.
Wilhelmsen Ships Service handled the consignment, valued at around USD2 million, which consisted of 39 packages, weighing a total of 303 tonnes and 2,400 cu m.
The company's responsibility included vessel chartering, export Customs clearance, cargo collection and trucking into the terminal, storage, haulage and handling.
The air filter system, which was loaded at Guangzhou, will be discharged at Mumbai and is destined for a substantial heavy electrical engineering company in India.
