May 21 - Wijngaard Natie Logistics - Atlantic nv has transported a 266-tonne transformer to the Wijngaard Natie stevedoring terminal in Antwerp.
The transformer, which Wijngaard Natie claims was the heaviest one ever built in the town of Mechelen, was loaded onto a 22-axle SPMT and rolled onto a barge for river transportation to the terminal in Antwerp.
The transformer will be used as a back-up unit for power supply.
Wijngaard Natie Logistics - Atlantic nv is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Belgium.
