November 20 - Panalpina's chief operating officer (coo), Andy Weber, is to leave the company at the end of the year for personal reasons.
Weber, who is also a member of the executive board, joined Panalpina in 2015.
A company statement said that he has successfully led many turnaround projects and made Panalpina's Energy and Project Solutions business segments "fit for competition in the challenging energy and capital projects sector".
Stefan Karlen, ceo of Panalpina, added: "While I regret his departure, I am pleased that he has agreed to continue to support Panalpina in a consulting role and that the company can further rely on his expertise for specific projects."
Panalpina says that the coo position will not be replaced.
