Another WCA Projects member, Global Shipping Services (USA) and its partner, DC Logistics (Brazil), coordinated the shipment of two oversize units in wooden crates from Cleveland, Ohio, USA to Port Itapoa, Brazil.
Meanwhile, WCA Projects member Star Shipping - in partnership with a Korean forwarder - moved four 99-tonne engines from Pakistan's Port of Karachi to a job site in Karore.
The company used three multi-axle trucks, as well as three flatbed and lowbed trailers, to deliver the engines over 1,500 km by road to the site. As well as the overland transport, Star Shipping arranged Customs clearance and port handling operations.
