October 10 - Waiver Logistics is coordinating a large wind power project taking place in Cochabamba, Bolivia, roughly 330 km from La Paz.
All of the machinery being used in the wind power project has been shipped from China to Arica Port in Chile. Waiver Logistics is responsible for delivering the heavy cargoes from the Chilean gateway to Cochabamba, as 900 km journey.
Waiver Logistics is currently moving the first two sets of 1.5 MW wind turbines to the project jobsite.
Bolivian president, Evo Marales, presided over the signing ceremony earlier this year, alongside representatives from state utility firm Corani, which is developing the project.
Waiver Logistics is a member of the Global Project Logistics Network.
