May 12 - Wagenborg has transported a large mobile wellhead compressor skid from Waddinxveen to oil and gas company NAM's site in Gaag, the Netherlands.
The skid, which measured 17 m x 4 m x 4 m, was first lifted out of its production hall in Waddinxveen using a 500-tonne capacity mobile telescopic crane, equipped with 160 tonnes of superlift counterweight.
The cargo was then loaded onto a bespoke 3x6 boiler bridge combination, which Wagenborg said it selected due to the height of the large skid, since the unit could be loaded deeper on the trailer.
The transport combination, which had an overall weight of 143 tonnes and the dimensions 43 m x 5 m x 4 m, travelled by road to the site in Gaag, where the skid was unloaded by a 500-tonne capacity mobile telescopic crane. The skid will be used at the NAM site to compress natural gas directly from the source to the production plant.
