December 19 - Wagenborg Nedlift has used its 750-tonne capacity LR1750 crawler crane to replace an old railway bridge in Bochum, Germany.
Over 40 trailers were used to transport the giant crane to the bridge's location, where the machine had to be assembled in the city's narrow streets.
Once erect, the crane was equipped with 260 tonnes of superlift counterweight, before lifting the old bridge from its foundations.
Meanwhile, Wagenborg installed another 400-tonne mobile crane on the other side of the rail track, which was used to lift the 54-tonne new temporary bridge into place.
