May 29 - Two mobile meteorological support vehicles have been flown from Delhi to Yekaterinburg in Russia on board one of Volga-Dnepr Airlines' AN-124-100 freighter aircraft, after being tested by specialists in India.
The mobile stations, each of which weighed 12 tonnes with a length of 8.5 m and a height of 3.6 m, were accompanied by a 4-tonne and 5 m long trailer.
At Indira Gandhi International Airport, the vehicles drove into the AN-124's cargo hold under their own power.
The flight was operated on behalf of the Government of India, which ordered the meteorological vehicles from Russian manufacturer Uraltransmash in order to familiarise Indian specialists with the equipment and allow them to conduct tests with the vehicles.
