June 20 - Volga-Dnepr has transported a 57-tonne Siemens generator rotor to Kuwait onboard one of its AN-124-100 freighters.
As part of Volga-Dnepr's cargo supermarket service, the airline organised the cargo security screening at Cologne Airport, arranged the crane hire to load the 11 m long rotor, and handled the export documentation.
Volga-Dnepr also arranged a crane for offloading in Kuwait and organised its transfer to the warehouse holding area at the airport.
