November 25 - European abnormal and heavy haulage provider Van der Vlist Special and Heavy Transport recently completed a convoy movement comprising of four vehicles to move a set of gripper rings for the offshore industry.
The pieces were transported from the production plant at Nieuwdorp, the Netherlands through to Wallsend in the UK.
At 5.13 m in width and 4.03 m high, 2 and 3 axle low loaders we reutilised for what was a relatively small movement, says the company (pictured below).
The low loaders were pulled by 3 and 4 axle tractor units.
