September 10 - V. Alexander International Logistics, a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network representing Germany, has completed a complex project shipment from Germany and Italy to Belgium for use in a chemical plant.
An 18. 6 m x 4.69 m x 5.83 m reactor weighing approximately 110 tonnes (pictured below) was moved by road to the inland port of Aken in Germany, where it was loaded onto a barge for river transport to Antwerp, Belgium. Upon arrival at the Belgian gateway the reactor was loaded back onto a truck for on forwarding to the final factory jobsite.
V. Alexander has also been responsible for delivering two further reactors and associated equipment for use in the chemical plant, originating in both Germany and Italy. The company organised all the appropriate transport and survey formalities to ensure the project was completed successfully.
