December 16 - Effective January 1, 2016, United Heavy Lift (UHL) has agreed a strategic and exclusive cooperation with Poland based EuroAfrica Shipping Lines (ESL).
UHL has been nominated by ESL as commercial agent in Germany and several other European countries; while ESL will represent UHL exclusively in Poland, Russia and the Baltic states.
Both companies have expressed the desire to strengthen their existing business in West Africa, as well as develop new markets in East Africa.
Besides bulk, breakbulk and steel cargo shipments, the partnership will focus on the transportation of oil and gas components, as well as project and heavy lift cargoes weighing up to 800 tonnes each.
ESL operates seven multipurpose vessels in its trade, with maximum lifting capacities of 120 tonnes, as well as chartered tonnage.
