January 19 - Ucargo has been presented with the project forwarding award at the British International Freight Association's (BIFA) 2016 Freight Service Awards.
The award - which was sponsored by Peter Lole Insurance Brokers - was presented to Ucargo for its hands-on approach and expertise in the delivery of carnival equipment for a total of 35 clients.
The project forwarding award's finalists included Laser Transport International, OIA Global and Panalpina World Transport.
BIFA's 2016 Freight Service Awards luncheon was hosted by former competitive swimmer and television presenter Sharron Davies MBE.
Robert Keen, BIFA director general, said: "The BIFA Freight Service Awards are not just about rewarding excellence. The luncheon is an excellent networking event, cementing existing relationships between members and guests, and making new ones.
"I congratulate every company and individual who took the time and trouble to enter our Freight Service Awards competition 2016. I continue to believe that the very act of entering allows members to improve their business systems and learn a great deal about themselves."
