August 10 - Tuscor Lloyds has transported an oversize industrial washer unit and distillation module from Castilla de Leon, Spain to the Indonesian port of Jakarta.
The two modules, which measured 2.4 m x 2.45 m x 3.1 m and 2.82 m x 2.5 m x 3.2 m respectively, were first lifted onto lowbed trailers in Azuqueca de Henares, before being transported 350 km by road to the port of Valencia.
At the port, the cargo was lashed onto a 20 ft flatrack container using heavy-duty ratchet straps and loaded onto a vessel for shipment to Jakarta, where local transport providers coordinated delivery to the final site.
Elsewhere, the UK based freight forwarder completed the first phase of a factory relocation from South Korea to Pesqueira, Mexico.
The equipment was loaded into 40 ft dry van and 40 ft high cube containers, before being shipped from the port of Busan to the ports of Lazaro Cardenas and Manzanillo. From the Mexican ports, Tuscor Lloyds coordinated final delivery to the site.
