January 23 - ALE claims to have transported one of the first wind turbine blades in Saudi Arabia.
Measuring up to 60 m long, the blades are being transported 600 km from Jubail Industrial Port to Huraymila, north of Riyadh.
ALE has been contracted to transport, lift and commission one of the first two wind turbines at two separate sites in Saudi Arabia.
According to ALE, these wind turbines will be the first ever to be constructed in the country, making this a milestone project not only for ALE, but for Saudi Arabia.
