June 23 - Dubai-based project cargo forwarder Transport Technics and Services International (TTS International) has completed the shipment of a 49 m nitrogen tank.
The 120 tonne tank (pictured below), constructed at Exterran Belleli Energy in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah was moved to Fujairah for the Enoc Vopak Horizon Tank farm.
TTS International utilised Nicolas hydraulic trailers with turntables, 8-axles in front, 6-axles in rear, to move the cargo.
Offloading required a 400 tonne hydraulic gantry. The load was shifted sideways and placed onto the prepared foundations.
TTS International specialises in handling, transportation and installation of heavy and oversized cargo by land and sea and was formed in 1984. The company took over the heavy lift activities and a part of the staff of ITM Overseas. The company has since expanded into an UAE-wide organisation with offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and staff of 85 personnel. TTS International operates in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and India.
