June 4 - Van der Vlist has transported a Kenworth T800 vacuum truck from the port of St Petersburg to Atyrau in Kazakhstan.
The 21-tonne truck, which had been shipped to Russia from Canada, was loaded onto a three-axle low loader in St Petersburg, before beginning its 2,700 km road journey to Kazakhstan.
The end of the journey proved the most challenging, explained Van der Vlist, as the road conditions began to deteriorate near to the delivery site.
However, after successfully negotiating the roads, the 13.34 m x 2.59 m x 3.89 m unit was finally delivered to its destination in Atyrau.
