December 05 - TransGroup Worldwide logistics, the US member of the Project Professionals Group, has been heavily involved in the grand opening ceremony of the USD1.5 billion Atlantis The Palm resort in Dubai.
The complex is set on 46 hectares with 17 hectares of water and marine park entertainment attractions.
TransGroup transported all the water park equipment including the shark and dolphin tanks and pyramid water slide, as well as all furniture and hotel supplies including live fish, seahorses and anemones for the huge aquarium.
Thirteen tons of lighting and stage equipment, four tons of special effects equipment was also delivered.
The fireworks display for the official opening required six 40' containers of class 1 explosives from China and the USA. All but the fireworks will be returned to the US by TransGroup.
