August 29 - Portuguese shipping agent, Trana - Agentes de Navega
The consignments were loaded on Briese Schiffahrt's Emma Janneke at the port of Leixões having arrived by road from the Martifer factory at Oliveira de Frades.
Emma Janneke is now headed for Denmark's port of Esbjerg from where the components will be delivered by road to Siemens' manufacturing plant at Brande, about 80 km from Esbjerg.
According to a spokesperson for Trana - Agentes de Navegação, these first shipments are the start of an ambitious production and export programmme of such components by Martifer Energia for markets worldwide and follow nearly a year of joint work between Trana and Martifer Energy SA.
