January 20 - Tradelossa has completed the transport of a second boiler within the Mexican Port of Altamira and onto a barge for shipment to the USA.
HLPFI reported on December 17, 2015 that Tradelossa had moved the first 850-tonne boiler through the port to the waiting barge.
The boilers each weighed in at 850 tonnes and measured 35.1 m x 14.02 m x 15.86 m.
The scope of Tradelossa's work included providing all labour, hydraulic equipment and supervision, as well as the 3.5 km overland transportation and rolling of the boiler onto a barge.
According to the Port of Altamira, this oversize movement was the biggest performed at the Mexican port to date.
