November 30 - The Port of Tarragona handled 27.86 million tonnes of cargo during the first ten months of 2015, a 6.9 percent increase compared with the same period of 2014.
During October 2015, the Spanish port moved 3.1 million tonnes of cargo, which represents a 7.2 percent year-on-year increase.
The Port of Tarragona added that October was one of its best months in terms of cargo volumes over the past three years.
Meanwhile, the port's ro-ro terminal handled 95,817 units during the first ten months of 2015 - a 90.7 percent increase compared with the previous year.
