April 6 - Tiong Woon Corporation Holding Ltd (Tiong Woon) has completed its heaviest haulage and load-out operation to date.
The project, undertaken by wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiong Woon Project & Contracting Pte Ltd, involved the deployment of sophisticated heavy haulage equipment which included 68-axle Goldhofer SPMTs moving a 1,650 tonne carbon dioxide (CO2) removal module with dimensions of 23 m by 23 m by 21 m.
The project was undertaken for VME Process Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (VME Process) with Tiong Woon being responsible for engineering, mobilisation activities of multiaxle trailers, ramps, ballasting pumps and mooring arrangements, heavy haulage and load-out of the module, as well as fabrication and installation of grillage and sea-fastening.
