July 5 - Scotland's Stoddart Crane Hire has taken delivery of a Terex AC 100/4L all-terrain crane; while Canada based Guay has received a new Terex Crossover 8000 boom truck crane.
The Scottish company's new 100-tonne capacity Terex AC 100/4L model has a maximum boom length of 59.4 m, a system length of 81.7 m and a width of just 2.55 m.
Stoddart's founder and owner, David Stoddart, commented that the crane is ideal for work in Scotland, due to its performance on narrow roads and at sites with difficult access.
Guay's new 80-tonne capacity boom truck crane has a 126 ft (38 m) maximum boom length and a jib of 190 ft (58 m). It was chosen due to its versatility and ability to travel over-the-road while carrying all its counterweight and support equipment, said Terex.
