USA-based Talbert Manufacturing has updated its 60CC/55SA-LD trailer to meet differing hauling regulations.
The hydraulic system allows operation of the third axle only or a combination of third and fourth axles. It also features an 18-inch (45.7-cm) loaded deck height and a 6-inch (15.2-cm) ground clearance.
“When you look at the overall size of heavy haul loads, a couple inches might not seem consequential; but to our customers, those two inches can make a world of difference,” said Troy Geisler, Talbert vice president of sales and marketing.
The base model of the 60CC/55SA-LD features a 108-inch (274.3 cm) swing radius, 26-ft (7.9 m) deck length and 8-ft 6-inch (2.59 m) deck width. Additional customisation is possible, including a 24-inch (60.9 cm) flip gooseneck extension that increases swing radius to 132 inches (335.3 cm) and allows greater load transfer capabilities.
