March 25 - Swire Shipping - the liner shipping division of The China Navigation Co (CNCo) - has upgraded its service coverage between Asia and Darwin, effective immediately.
Swire Shipping will provide a shuttle service from Singapore to Darwin every 11 days catering for containers, breakbulk, reefer, LCL and project cargoes.
It has also introduced new direct services from ports in China, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia to Darwin on a monthly basis. The new connections will focus primarily on breakbulk and project cargoes, although they will be able to accept some containerised freight.
