December 21 - Ekin Heavy & Project Cargo Transportation has completed the delivery of six oversize components from Turkey to Azerbaijan.
The consignment included six units, weighing in between 2 and 31.5 tonnes each. The largest cargo measured 13.1 m x 6.1 m x 5.9 m, with the other units also measuring around 13 m long.
Ekin organised the transportation of the oversize cargo, as well as obtaining road permits, and arranging pilot cars and police escorts. The Turkish company also handled the loading and lashing of the cargoes on a vessel.
During the road transportation, Ekin was required to temporarily remove some cables, dismantle signs and obstacles en route, and close the roads to traffic where necessary.
