November 13 - Mumbai-based project forwarder Super Freight has transported the first of three new super post-Panamax rail-mounted ship-to-shore cranes from Pipavav Port to JN Port in India.
The new cranes weigh about 1,500 tonnes each, with a height of around 115 m and width of 28 m.
Super Freight is set to move two more super post-Panamax gantry cranes, of a similar size, soon.
The installation of the new cranes will significantly help trade and improve productivity at the Indian container handling facility, said Super Freight.
