April 3 - WWPC members, Maxlines International and Shanghai Ocean Knight Shipping have cooperated during the shipment of a ship's steel block from Jiangyin port, China to a shipbuilding yard in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
This project cargo shipment consisted of six packages, including two over-dimensional heavyweight items, which weighed 58 and 39.8 tonnes respectively. With a height of 7.5 m and 5.5 m, each of these items required careful handling and lashing. (One can be seen below left)
At the same time, Maxlines Taiwan has shipped crane equipment from Singapore to Keelung on a ro-ro vessel with final delivery by truck to the job site at TaoYuan international airport. (seen below right being unloaded from the ro-ro vessel)
