June 8 - German logistics service provider Group7 generated a turnover of EUR78 million (USD87.3 million) in 2014 - a 13 percent year-on-year increase.
Group7 achieved higher turnover in all its business sectors, including airfreight, ocean freight, road freight transport and contract logistics, with above-average growth posted in its air and ocean freight divisions.
Günther Jocher, managing director of Group7, explained that the company saw a marked increase in the automotive field, as well as in the e-commerce business.
However, Jocher expects a turnover substantially higher than EUR78 million in 2015, noting that the company's 200,000 sq m of logistics areas across Germany will be one of its main growth drivers.
