June 22 - StederGroup Liner Agency has launched a breakbulk, liner service with vessels from 15,000 dwt up to 30,000 dwt and geared with 20 ton cranes between the Black Sea and Mediterranean ports and South American east and west coast ports.
The Dutch-based company says that cargoes will include steel and steel products such as billets, rebar, sheets, plates, HR and CR coils, profiles, beams, and merchant bars, plus general and project cargoes.
Regular loading ports: Odessa on the Black Sea, Hereke in the eastern Mediterranean and other regional ports on inducement of 3,000 tonnes. Regular discharge ports will include Manzanillo, Panama; Barranquilla and Buenaventura, Colombia; Esmeralda, Ecuador; Callao, Peru; Antofagasta and San Antonio, Chile; and, via Cape Horn, Brazilian ports below 10 degrees south; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
