June 24 - Steder Group Logistics has transported a dismantled gas turbine from various locations across Europe to Turkmenistan.
The turbine parts arrived at the Romanian port of Constanta from locations in Norway, Italy and Estonia by sea.
Once all the parts had arrived in Constanta, Steder consolidated and loaded the consignment, which had a total volume of 1,204 cu m, into a river vessel for shipment via Rostov-on-Don and the Caspian Sea to the port of Turkmenbashi.
All of the vessels used were chartered by Steder Group and loaded and lashed onboard under the supervision of its agency department.
This is the third transport of its kind handled by Steder Group, which is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) representing Romania.
