October 24 - Steder Group has chartered two urgent AN-124 freighter flights with Maximus Air Cargo, in order to deliver power equipment to Shell Gabon on behalf of Aggreko International.
Aggreko was requested by Shell Gabon to assist them with temporary power.
The cargo was loaded at the new airport in Dubai - Al Makthoum International - and flown to Libreville in Gabon.
Steder also chartered another two B747 freighters carrying spares and ancillaries, with Ethiad Airlines from Sharjah to Gabon.
"Steder Group has already chartered more than 20 AN-124s and 50 IL-76s over the last 15 years for Aggreko International, for urgent power supplies," said Rob de Korte, director of Steder.
